The Air Jordan 13 in White & Red was one of the last OG colorways Michael Jordan wore as a Chicago Bull.
A polarizing shoe, the 13 is modeled after a panther’s paw, which explains the sleek shape and pods at the bottom. They also feature holograms near the ankle and on the sole. This particular pair sports a classic Bulls colorway in white leather and red suede. These have also been nicknamed the “Cherry” 13s.
I think this colorway is super clean and so when this retro dropped in 2010, I had to cop! A 2005 retro of the Air Jordan XIII was my outdoor basketball shoe for a while so I can attest to these shoes still being decent to play in! With a 2017 retro set to release, the popularity of this shoe is not going to decrease any time soon!
What To Sport These With?
The Air Jordan 13 White Red are some of the easier Jordans to sport. I like wearing them with a simple grey hoodie and some medium wash blue jeans. I also like them with some distressed black denim and a red hoodie for a bit of a “meaner” look.
How Are The Materials?
These have a nice leather upper with the red parts being suede. I’m not going to say the suede is buttery necessarily, but it still seems to be of good quality. Overall I’d say the quality is decent enough on these to warrant a purchase. I can’t hate on the materials although there are definitely shoes with better leather and/or suede on them out there.
How Do They Fit?
I personally find the Air Jordan 13 Cherry to be one of the more comfortable Air Jordans out there with respects to padding and fit. You might even been able to go down a half size and still be comfortable in these. Don’t quote me on that though 😀
